The SmartSignaling call capacity test of the AT-9155Cs determines the maximum number of simultaneous virtual circuit connections that the device under test can establish and maintain. On the other hand, the maximum call rate test measures the device's ability to handle the highest number of call setups and teardowns per second without encountering failures. The AT-9155Cs exhibits remarkable capabilities, supporting testing for up to 800 calls per port, per second. In a comprehensive test suite featuring 40 ATM ports, this amounts to a total capacity of 32,000 calls per second. Furthermore, the module can accommodate up to 8,388,606 VCCs (Virtual Channel Connections) per port, allowing for a total of 33,544,240 VCCs in a 40-port ATM suite, which aligns with the maximum specifications set by the ATM Forum UNI (User Network Interface).
