The GSS4200 by Spirent is a GPS Production/Field Test Multi-Channel Simulator that offers comprehensive navigation testing capabilities within a production/field test setting. This simulator has been purposefully engineered to seamlessly integrate with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) through the IEEE488 GPIB interface, making it an optimal choice for high-volume test environments. Featuring six channels equipped with GPS L1 C/A code, the GSS4200 enables accurate position fixes by simulating satellite data and dynamics that re representative. Additionally, it offers a single-channel mode for specific testing requirements.

To meet the demands of production testing, the GSS4200 comes pre-loaded with a selection of configurable test scenarios. It can be easily integrated with the production line ATE via various connectivity options, including IEEE488 GPIB, USB, or RS232 interfaces. Furthermore, this simulator supports synchronization with other systems through its 1PPS, Frequency Standard, and Trigger inputs/outputs. With an impressive dynamic range that extends down to 155 dBm, this simulator caters to both high and low power RF output ports and can be accurately calibrated. Its capabilities make it an ideal source of GPS signals for A-GPS wireless protocol conformance testing applications. The GSS4200 exhibits exceptional performance with minimal variability from run to run, ensuring stability within 0.1 dB.
