The GSS6700 by Spirent is a Multi-GNSS Simulator that is utilized as a solution for integration, verification, and development tasks requiring the generation of un-encrypted L1 GNSS signals from one or more constellations. With its user-friendly interface and robust capabilities, the GSS6700 empowers the user to tackle GNSS testing with ease while accommodating to the evolving needs of the user. Additionally, this simulator is equipped to support Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS, and GPS/SBAS systems, providing the user with portable scenarios that foster seamless collaboration.
Delighting users with unparalleled accuracy, fidelity, and reliability, the GSS6700 enables the user to save and compare data from the Device Under Test (DUT), as well as import motion from logged NMEA sources. Enjoy exceptional repeatability, wide dynamic capability in both Doppler and power level, low phase noise, and an ample number of channels to create all-encompassing and multipath environments. Hardware integration signals such as 1PPS in/out, 10MHz in/out, and hardware trigger are readily available, ensuring seamless connectivity. The GSS6700 boasts a total of 36 channels, with a maximum of 12 channels per constellation. This generous channel allocation caters to a wide range of development and integration tasks, providing the user with abundant signals for comprehensive testing. Additionally, this simulator offers receiver antenna pattern modeling and is compatible with a selection of advanced scenario generation and simulation control software.
The software solutions of the GSS6700 include: SimGENTM, SimREPLAY, and SimREPLAYplus. SimGENTM presents both a flextible and complete scenario generation capability, enabling the user to exercise control over various error models, vehicle trajectory, multipath, antenna patterns, terrain obscuration, propagation, and constellations. Seamlessly integrating with the simulator, SimREPLAY supports replaying pre-defined scenarios, making it ideal for repetitive comparative measurements. To enhance a scenario collection, an online scenario generation tool is available to customers with a warranty or support contract at no additional charge. For users seeking advanced functionality, SimREPLAYplus offers the ability to define vehicle motion remotely. It also allows the user to edit the time, date, and position, granting the user enhanced flexibility in generating scenarios locally. SimREPLAYplus provides features comparable to the online tool offered to supported SimREPLAY users, further expanding simulation capabilities.
