The ML-7711s by Spirent is a SmartMetrics 100Base-FX Ethernet SmartCard designed for easy integration into a SMB-200 or SMB-2000 chassis system. This SmartCard is equipped with a single port, is capable of operating in both single and multi-mode configurations, and a maximum of four can be used within a single chassis at one time. The ML-7711s can also provide GPS support and enable the establishment of a distributed performance analysis system when used in conjunction with the SMB-200 chassis. This system facilitates the measurement of end-to-end performance metrics such as latency from one direction as well as latency variation. Additionally, the SmartCard’s compatible chassis can be conveniently dispatched to test sites, ensuring efficient and comprehensive testing capabilities thanks to its 4-port capacity.
