The MXP-10G-S4 by Spirent is an advanced HyperMetrics mX 10G Ethernet test module that leverages Cloud Core processing to achieve optimal performance and scalability without compromising test ports. Its primary function is to ensure the delivery of a seamless mobile multi-play experience by combining high-performance stateful traffic, access and mobile control plane, and high-scale routing within a single module. Powered by high-performing Intel processors designed for cloud and high-performance computing, the MXP-10G-S4 supports line-rate, stateful application traffic at extreme scale across all ports, as well as line-rate data capacity on 32 ports.

The MXP-10G-S4 boasts compatibility with SFP+ and offers four ports for testing purposes. This module is specifically designed to test converged devices that integrate stateful features like Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and firewall with Any-G mobile gateways, high-scale MPLS mobile backhaul, and terabit forwarding planes. Through its Cloud Core processing and deep real-time analysis capabilities, this module delivers enhanced realism, scale, and performance. The MXP-10G-S4 finds applications in various domains, including cloud infrastructure and applications, converged mobile routers, high-scale terabit routers, and mobile gateways.

The MXP-10G-S4 is capable of testing devices and converged networks while emulating multiple layers of network protocols. It also performs real-time analysis to determine the cause and effect of statistics, all while scaling effectively and subjecting the system to realistic scenarios such as failovers. Additionally, the module can benchmark cloud data centers, as well as assess application and mobile broadband experiences. To expedite and simplify the configuration of scale mobility, routing, application, mobile backhaul, and access test cases, the MXP-10G-S4 offers integrated test packages and configuration wizards.
