The SMB-600 by Spirent is a SmartBits chassis designed with precision and optimized for portability. This compact testing system boasts an impressive port density that is high in comparison with the chassis’ size. Equipped to accommodate up to two modules, the SMB-600 offers unparalleled flexibility in port configuration. Additionally, this chassis supports up to 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 SmartMetrics Gigabit ports, 2 POS (Packet over SONET) ports, 16 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, or a combination of these ports.

Testing capabilities can be expanded by daisy-chaining multiple SMB-600 units together. This innovative feature enables the user to achieve higher port density, unlocking the potential for Quality Control automated large-scale testing and high-volume production environments. Seamlessly control the system using a PC connected via a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection and enjoy a user-friendly Windows®-based interface for streamlined operation. The SMB-600 has been meticulously crafted to meet the stringent requirements of network equipment manufacturers, evaluation labs, and Telcos/ISPs/Enterprise users.
