The SPT-3150 by Spirent is an Abacus 5000 rack-mountable chassis that has 13 slots and offers a comprehensive solution for IP and PSTN telephony testing within a single platform. Leveraging the Abacus 5000 test methodology, this chassis allows users to objectively assess Voice Quality (MOS, PSQM, PSQM+, PESQ) under realistic voice stream load conditions. The SPT-3150 excels in handling heavy loads, offering extensive functionality and facilitating interoperability testing. Its primary purpose is to aid ISPs, ITSPs, IP-PBX, IP gateway, server, router, and switch manufacturers in migrating or converging into IP Telephony by supporting the performance evaluation of synchronized and complex test scenarios.
