The SPT-N11U is equipped with a built-in touchscreen interface for upgrades to the system firmware and fast booting for streamlined operations, fan control and intelligent power for the best performance, and orderly administration.

The SPT-N11U boasts architecture that is efficient in order to support various testing environments, ranging from functional testing with multiple users to stress testing of multichassis core and switch fabric routers. It stands out in terms of data traffic capacity, with a single unit capable of scaling up to nearly 10 terabits, exceeding the capabilities of modern router architectures. Furthermore, the SPT-N11U is designed to occupy minimal rack space and consume less power compared to competing systems, thanks to fan control and intelligent power, as well as its ability to handle 10 terabits of cloud traffic per second. It offers an extensive range of Ethernet port options per chassis, including 48 200G or 24 400G, 144 100G or 40G, 288 50G, and 576 25G or 10G ports.

The SPT-N11U is built to provide investment protection, ensuring compatibility with existing hardware and future technologies. It offers full backward compatibility with HyperMetrics and HyperMetrics NEXT test modules, is 400G Ethernet ready, and eliminates the need to learn new user interfaces or application programming interfaces (APIs). This SPT-N11U excels in delivering reliable and accurate measurements. It boasts exceptional timing precision and synchronization, surpassing the competition by tenfold, making it ideal for large-scale tests and site-to-site latency and jitter measurements.

The SPT-N11U features automatic calibration for precise synchronization between multiple units. This chassis also stands out with its user-friendly design, incorporating a built-in touchscreen for real-time monitoring of chassis status and administration. It includes timing synchronization capabilities, including a 1588v2 connector. Additionally, the SPT-N11U offers significantly faster boot times and firmware upgrades compared to previous systems, with a fourfold improvement in boot time and threefold improvement in firmware upgrades. Client software can be conveniently downloaded from the chassis using a web browser.
